LASER STATUS CONNECTORS
1. Power LED – Illuminated when Key Switch is ON
2. Fault – Illuminated when laser fault exists. Laser will not fire when FAULT LED is
illuminated.
3. Laser Emission – LED is illuminated any time the laser is enabled (ready to fire) or when
actively lasing.
INITIAL POWER ON
Power-On Checklist
 Verify cable connections are correct.
 Apply power to laser power supply.
 Rotate keyswitch clockwise to turn on the Jewel Laser.
 Open Jewel Control Software.
The laser will be ready to operate after approximately 2 minutes. When harmonic module is
attached, best laser performance will require 10 minutes of warm-up time.
POWER OFF
Power-Off Checklist
 Stop laser Fire, via software.
 Close Jewel Control Software.
 Power down Jewel Laser.
