When the Bluetooth device is properly paired, connect to the 9250 on a Windows
based PC by carrying out the following:
o Right click the Bluetooth icon in the taskbar and click Bluetooth places.
o
Right click the “Emerald-####” and click “Connect Bluetooth Serial Port (COM##)
where ## is recognized port number.
A message will appear indicating when connect wirelessly to the 9250.
When using any command terminal, be sure to set and/or confirm the baud rate is
115200 bps.
One may now use the 9250
Application (see “9250 Application) or any generic
communication terminal program to begin wireless communications.
o It should be noted that the 9250 Application automatically detects the port which
the device is on. When using a generic communication terminal program, be sure
to select the correct Com port in which the device was installed on.
