The sections below briefly describe the Audio Processor, AAC and MP3 encoder instances.
Audio Processor Instance
The Audio Processor instance accepts audio from an audio source, processes it then sends
the processed audio to an output device:

The output audio device can be either a sound card installed in the PC, a Virtual Audio
Cable device or an Axia IP-Audio device. Please see the

AAC Encoder
The AAC Encoder instance accepts audio from a source, processes it, encodes it to AAC,
then sends the encoded stream to one or more servers you specify:

It is important to note that the encoded stream can be sent simultaneously to multiple serv-
ers. The servers then replicate the stream to the clients. The
