• Lightweight, Compact Tray Mount
• Easy Cockpit Integration
• Aircraft Grade Enclosure
• Easy Installation & Removal for Mission & Aircraft Flexibility
The basic voice ‘system’ is comprised of three units: the STX100-000 Satcom Satphone
Transceiver, the PTA12-xxx Series control panel, and a Comant CI480-1 (or equivalent)
approved antenna. The STX100-000 is a remote mounted, 1/4 ATR type unit that is
tray mounted. Its simple interconnect allows for easy installation and operation. The
PTA12 unit replaces the typical handset and provides a direct interface to the aircraft
audio system, allowing the STX100-000 transceiver system to be selected in the same
manner as the other aircraft radios. The antenna is typically a low profile type, designed
for use with Globalstar
™
system.
The basic data system is comprised of the STX100-000, CI480-1 (or equivalent)
antenna, and the LMC01-xxx.
The heart of the STX100-000 is the Qualcomm
™
Globalstar
™
Satphone Transceiver.
The STX100-IKC (crimp) install kit is needed to complete the installation. The install kit
includes the TX Filter that should be mounted near the STX100-000.
