Step 4—Download your imagery or data
You will be notified by email when the download is ready. You can also check the download
progress on the Downloads subtab.
When your file is ready, go to the Downloads subtab and download your map files.
Note For each selection, a map file for your PN-Series GPS device is saved to the DeLorme
Docs/Mobile Maps folder on your computer and a map file for use in the desktop mapping
program is saved to the DeLorme Docs/Downloads folder.
Step 5—Sync the project with your PN-Series GPS
1. Connect your device to your computer with the USB cable. If syncing with an SD
card, you can insert the card in the device or use an SD card reader.
2. Click the Sync button on the toolbar to open the Earthmate GPS Sync dialog
box.
3. To verify your downloaded map is ready to sync, on the left side of the dialog click
Project Contents. Then, click Map Packages. You can view the maps you already
have on the device on the right side of the dialog.
