6 – Power Supply Component Replacement
Replace the rear panel
Remove the rear panel
Use the following procedure to completely remove the rear panel in order to replace it. If you just need to move the rear
panel out of the way to provide better access to the interior of the power supply, see
Detach the rear panel on page 104
and Reattach the rear panel on page 106.
1. Make sure that the serial number on the existing rear
panel matches the one on the new rear panel.
Contact Hypertherm if the serial numbers do not
match. The serial number can be found on the data
plate.
2. Complete the following procedures:
a. Set the power switch to OFF (O), and
disconnect the power cord from the power
source.
b. See Remove the power supply cover on
page 98.
c. See Remove the component barrier on page 100.
3. Lay the power supply on its side.
4. Remove the retaining screw from the bottom of the rear panel .
