BIOS Setup

Typematic Rate (Chars/Sec)

This field allows you to select the rate at which the keys are accelerated.

Typematic Delay (Msec)

This field allows you to select the delay between when the key was first de-
pressed and when the acceleration begins.

Security Option

This field determines when the system will prompt for the password - everytime
the system boots or only when you enter the BIOS setup. Set the password in
the Set Supervisor/User Password submenu.

System
The system will not boot and access to Setup will be denied unless the cor-
rect password is entered at the prompt.
Setup
The system will boot, but access to Setup will be denied unless the correct
password is entered at the prompt.

APIC Mode

Leave this field in its default setting.

MPS Version Control for OS

This field is used to select the MPS version used by the system.

OS Select for DRAM > 64MB

This field allows you to access the memory that is over 64MB in OS/2. The op-
tions are: Non-OS2 and OS2.

Report No FDD For WIN 95

Yes
Will report no FDD for Windows® 95.
No
Will not report no FDD for Windows® 95.

Delay for HDD (Secs)

This field is used to enter the time that would delay the HDD controller’s initial
time. This is specially useful for some HDDs which will not be ready at first boot
when you power-on the system.

Small Logo(EPA) Show

Enabled
The EPA logo will appear during system boot-up.
Disabled
The EPA logo will not appear during system boot-up.
