ADDENDUM #2 Class A Chimney Conversion Kit
Simpson Duravent provides a conversion kit for those wishing to use an existing wood stove chimney
to vent this direct vent stove. The illustration below gives an overview of this type of installation. See
the instructions included with the kit for details.
Warning The conversion kit does not work on interior masonry chimneys.
Warning Do not exceed the maximum vertical rise (see the section ÒApproved Vent
ConfigurationsÓ starting on page 9) allowable. Remember to set the restrictor position to
the correct position (based upon the vertical rise height - see the chart on page 10).
