Log Set and Coal Installation
Place the log set on the
log/kibble plate.
Place the kibbles in front of the firebox.
Do not place the kibbles directly over the
burner holes.
Center the log set
and slide it all the
way to the rear of the
firebox.
Approximately 7-1/2Ó by 1-1/2Ó
Preparing the Glowing Ember:
The glowing ember comes in a small strip. Stretch
it as thin as possible (nearly transparent) to form a
1-1/2Ó by 7-1/2Ó strip.
Place the ember strip over the ledge above the
front burner. Half of the strip should hang over the
burner.
There may be extra material - save
it for future use.
Tuck the front of the ember strip
down, behind the burner with a
screwdriver. Make sure the mat
of ember wool is not over the
burner holes. Tuck it behind the
burner tube if necessary.
Note how only a few
ÒwhiskersÓ are over the
burner holes.
