bYPASS VALVE INSTALLATION
A. Use the supplied 1” hose to connect the bypass valve
inlet to the 1” barb on the supercharger discharge
tube/duct. (See Fig. 14-a.)
B. Connect the bypass valve outlet to the air inlet duct
with the supplied hose.
C. Tighten hose clamps on each connection.
D. Using supplied 5/32” vacuum line and TEE, connect
barb on bypass valve to manifold vacuum. Use the
manifold vacuum line connected to the fuel regula-
tor.
E. Connect the supplied 3/8” hose from the valve cover
breather barb to the inlet duct 3/8” barb previously
installed.
F. Lengthen the air temp sensor plug wires using the
supplied butt connectors and wire and connect to
sensor.
G. Install the supplied 3-1/2” flex hose with two #52
clamps between the supercharger and the air inlet
elbow.
H. Tighten all hose clamps.
13.
AIR INLET DUCT INSTALLATION, cont’d.
B. Install the supplied air filter on the remaining 90°
elbow (does not have any drilled holes). (See Fig.
13-b.) From below, insert elbow through hole in
fender-well. Attach 3 1/2” sleeve to the protruding
part of the elbow and tighten clamp.
C. For standard non-aftercooled kits, insert the supplied
aluminum ring into the sleeve so that it sits flat on
the top of the plastic elbow just inserted. (See Fig.
13-c.)
D. Install the elbow with holes into the sleeve with the
1” barb nearest the supercharger. Orient the lower
elbow for maximum air filter and elbow clearance
and tighten #56 clamps.
