J. Install the supplied aluminum idler with the
snap ring’s side facing the rear of the vehicle
and the 3/8" thick spacer installed as shown
using the supplied M10 thin-head bolt. (See
Fig. 7-d.)
K. Install the supplied spring tensioner and ten-
sioner plate onto the mounting bracket as
shown using a 3/8" x 2-1/4" bolt and washer.
(See Fig. 7-e.) Index the tensioner so that it
pilots in the middle hole on the tensioner
plate.
L. Route the supplied 6-rib belt around all of the
accessories in the original manner leaving
the extra length in the position shown. (See
Fig. 7-e.)
M. Install the supercharger and plate assembly
onto the cast bracket and tighten using the
3/8" bolts previously installed in the cast
mounting plate. Install an additional 3/8" x 1"
bolt through the mounting plate and into the
lower passenger’s side hole in the cast brack-
et. (See Fig. 7-f.)
N. Use a large screwdriver (or equivalent) to
retract the spring tensioner by prying on the
shoulder of the spacer installed behind the
spring tensioner idler.

NOTE: Be sure to clear any hoses from the super-
charger as to not pinch or kink them during
supercharger installation.
