If a staple is caught inside the machine, remove it by
following these steps.
1
Open the staple cover.

Hold the handle of the staple cartridge,
and pull it toward you.

Open the staple cartridge cover, and
remove the caught staple.
CAUTION
Be careful not to injure your fingers when removing
the staple.
4
Return the staple cartridge to its original
position.
5
Close the staple cover.
