System Components and Collection
Chamber Isolation
The following test allows you to check the pump and the connections from the
pump to the vacuum tube.
1.
Place a rubber stopper in the vacuum port in the left side of the collector
chamber and another in the drain port in the bottom.
2.
Restart the vacuum system and check your vacuum indication.
Insufficient vacuum indicates a bad pump or a leak in the connections
from the pump to the side of the chamber.
