Solving Common Problems
The System Settings
window is not displayed
correctly when you
control the unit via
Remote Desktop.

Ensure that the System Settings
window is closed before you
connect to the unit with Remote
Desktop.
OR
If you are already connected to
the unit with Remote Desktop,
close the System Settings
window, and then reopen it.
Some applications are
not displayed correctly
when you connect to
the unit with Remote
Desktop.
On your computer, the
screen resolution that
has been selected at
the time of connection
is too high.
On your computer, select a lower
screen resolution in the Remote
Desktop options before connecting to
your unit.
External keyboard is not
working.
External keyboard has
not been detected.
Disconnect the keyboard, and
then connect it again.
Turn off the unit, connect the
keyboard, and turn on the unit.
Screen characters are
dim.
Brightness is not set
properly.
Adjust brightness.
Module is not detected. The module’s
application has not
been installed yet on
your unit or the
module’s application
is not up-to-date.
Ensure that the latest version for your
module’s application is available on
your unit (see the Installing or
Upgrading the Applications section).
