LBR4 User Manual
EAS
Override
GPI and Auto Detect are selectable. GPI allows the user to trigger an EAS on CH-4 with a remote
device. Selecting GPI Input 4 will copy the audio signal that is on CH-4 to all channels. Select again to
stop the EAS and put all channels back into their normal state. If GPI is selected then EAS Detection
and EAS Return Delay are not selectable by the user.
Auto Detect puts the LBR4 in a ready state to automatically copy CH-4 to all channels given the
parameters set by the EAS Detection and EAS Program Return Delay. EAS Detection Threshold and
EAS Program Return Delay are selectable with this choice.
EAS
Detection
Threshold
Sets the threshold that will trigger an EAS. -20 dBfs, -30 dBfs, -40 dBfs, and -50 dBfs may be selected.
Any signal higher than the selection will trigger an EAS and copy CH-4 to all channels.
EAS
Program
Return
Delay
Defines the amount of time that an auto detected EAS will last for after the EAS Detection Threshold
goes below its defined value. The time frame may be selected from 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 10 seconds
