4 Configuration
This chapter describes the features of the Switch Manager, and guides you through the software
configuration procedures. Also provided are configuration examples to help you apply software
features to different network scenarios.
4.1 View Mode
View Mode provides limited right for users. Users can only read system information and version.
They don’t have writing privileges.
The following commands are available in View Mode.
Command description
enable Turn on Configure Mode command
quit Exit Switch Manager shell
show Show system information
4.1.1 Get Help
The following commands are available for getting help.
Command description
? Show all current acceptable inputs. Can be used as a cmd
string input hint.
Example
Show all available commands on this mode.
