(3) ANSWERING TO DOOR STATION;
4-stroke (2-stroke from intercom door station) electronic chime tone sounds at
all room stations (& at ICR-1, if installed) and PICTURE APPEARS AT ALL
MONITORS.
Notes: * Reply within 45 seconds after call tone sounds.
*Picture goes off if monitor button is pressed before answering.
*No picture appears when called by IC door station #(2)
At either station, pick up handset and talk to the visitor in the picture.
Notes; *Do not depress ROOM CALL button while communicating with door station.
*Communication from ICR-1 is not available.
Timer shuts off the picture automatically approximately 2.5 minutes after the chime tone is heard.
Depress MONITOR button to reactivate the circuits for another 2.5 minutes.
Notes: *If the visitor pressed CALL button while communicating, picture goes off.
* Depress MONITOR button to restart.
* Visitor call light remains lit whOe communicating with door station.
After communication, hang up handset. The system returns to standby mode.
(4) MONITORING;
Depress MONITOR button, and picture appears and remains for approximately 2.5 minutes.
To continue monitoring, depress MONITOR button again.
Notes; *If you pick up handset during monitoring, you can not monitor sound of the outside nor
be heard by the MC-D door station. But, on IC-IAD (U) only, you can talk to or hear
MC-D by picking up handset.
*When chime tone sounds while monitoring, just pick up handset to reply.
Depress MONITOR button again to end monitoring.
(5) OPERATING ELECTRIC DOOR RELEASE;
After confirming visitor, depress and hold DOOR RELEASE button to activate electric strike.
The visitor may open the door while the electric strike is being
activated.
