the same ways which the other reverse
stitch patterns were used. See Page 43,
The crown stitch may also be matched so
that the design is much larger and
dominant
for
decorating
pillows
or
curtains. The embroidery foot is trans
parent to provide a better view. (Fig. 126)

DECORATIVE EFFECTS
The cross stitch is a pretty imitation of
the hand embroidery stitch which can be
used to enhance placemats, napkins, and
curtains. Transparent tape can be used
as a guideline for straight decorative
stitched lines. (Fig. 127)
