ZIPPER INSERTION

THROAT PLATE: GENERAL PURPOSE
ZIPPER FOOT
Skirt Zipper.
Machine baste the placket opening
of the skirt and press this seam open. Attach the
zipper foot to the machine and position it to
the right of the needle. Open the zipper. Place
the zipper face down on the seam allowance
with the edge of the teeth at the seam line. Turn
the back seam allowance away from the body of
the skirt. Stitch the zipper tape to the seam
allowance.
