Connecting the speaker cables

When using banana plugs, make sure the speaker terminal screws are
screwed in firmly before inserting the banana plugs.

NOTE:

Speaker terminals on European models are not banana plug compati
ble.

NOTE:

To prevent damage to circuitry,
never short-circuit the positive
(-r) and negative (-) speaker
wires.

Connecting the front and rear (surround) speakers

If you want to use Surround

effects, the rear and Center
speakers must be con
nected. (Surround effects
can be heard even if a center
speaker is not connected.
