Attaching the Presser Foot

When you sew heavy or lightweight fabrics, turn the adjusting screw to:

— clockwise for heavyweight fabric.

— counter-clockwise for lightweight fabric.

* For normal sewing, leave the adjusting screw even with the top surface

of the machine as illustrated.

foot lies just under the groove of the foot

holder.

Lower the foot holder and push the lever to

lock the foot in place. Raise the presser

foot lifter to check that the presser foot is

secure.

Press the lever located on the back

of foot holder, The presser foot wilI

drop off.
