2. Apply a light film of oil such as Sears household oil to
the spindle nose.
3. Place the chuck on the spindle nose and screw the
locking collar up as far as it will go.

insert a piece of 5/16 in. dia. STEEL ROD in to one of
the holes in the chuck body.

Insert the CHUCK KEY into one of the holes in the
collar . . . TURN IT IN THE DIRECTION OF ARROW
UNTIL IT IS TIGHT.

. To remove chuck, turn the collar in the opposite
direction until the chuck is ejected from the spindle.
INSTALLING FEED HANDLES
1.
Screw a FEED HANDLE into each of the threaded
holes in the hub, and tighten.
