Troubles - Causes Änd Remedies

POSSIBLE CAUSE

A. ENGINE WILL NOT START OR STARTS WITH DIFFICULTY

1. Out of gas

1. Fill fuel tank

2, Fuel tank not vented

2.Turn fuel tank filler cap one-half turn

counterclockwise

3. Clogged in-line fuel filter

3. Replace filter

4. Clogged fuel tank screen filter

4. Clean fuel tank fitter screen

5. Engine over-choked

5. Open choke

6. Defective spark plug

6,, Replace spark plug(s)

7, Engine air cleaner dirty

8. Gummy deposits from old gasoline

B. ENGINE LACKS POWER AND/OR RUNS ROUGH
