Lower the cartridge lock lever until it locks in
place.

Press in the fix tabs to remove the orange plastic
inserts.

Insert the ink tanks in the new BJ Cartridge and
then press down gently on top of each ink tank
until it locks in place.
You can use new ink tanks or remove the ink tanks in the
old BJ Cartridge and install them in the new BJ Cartridge.

Close the front cover.
The cartridge holder returns to the home position and print
head cleaning starts automatically. Do not open the front
cover during print head cleaning.
The POWER lamp flashes during print head cleaning. (It
takes about 30 seconds until print head cleaning is com-
pleted and the POWER lamp stops flashing.)
Before using the new BJ Cartridge...
You need to align the print head.
