CARE, CLEANING & DISINFECTION
1. Store the Float flat and without significant weight on it. Excessive weight or storage at an angle can lead to
damage of the Float.
2. Do not allow the Float to experience freezing temperatures. The spheres are filled with water.
3. Do not immerse the Float in water or cleaning fluids. The fabric cover is removable and can be washed at low
temperatures without bleach. Air dry.
4. Use appropriate sterilized field materials to isolate the patient from the Float. This also minimizes cleaning and
disinfecting procedures. Use a 10% sodium hypochlorite (bleach) solution or
Recommended Disinfectants on all surfaces.
Follow the directions on the disinfectant and wipe off excess.
Recommended Disinfectants
Protex, MadaCide, Accell TB, Virox
