Figure 20 – Cable Configurations: C01, C04, C10 and C13
2. Connect the 16-pin AMP plug on the
power cable (C10) to the UC4+ Control
Panel (E01) in the sprayer cab. The 3-
pin AMP plugs on C10 are connected
inline with the Summers’ control
box/joystick power connection in the
tractor cab (Figure 20).
3. Connect the sensor extension cable
(C13) to E01 with the 4-pin AMP
connector.
4. Route C13
and C10 to the tractor hitch
5. Attach the TEE CONNECTORS on
C10 inline with the existing Summers’
Harness #2 at the hitch. Pay attention to
the hitch connections; note the gender of
each connector to help decide the correct
connections. Figure 21 shows the hitch
connections.
6. Connect the 6-pin Shroud on the valve
extension cable (C04) to C10. C04
should connect to the MAIN
CONNECTOR on C10, not to the TEE
CONNECTORS (Figure 21).
The valve extension cable (C04)
may be packaged with one GP end
not installed. This is normal; it
helps installations for other
sprayer types. Pin this connector
on (connector included) as per
drawing in Section 5.5. TAKE
EXTRA CARE! These pins
require a special tool to remove
them if you make an error.
