You can advance/reverse a disc frame-by-frame using the Jog
Diai.
Press and hold JOG/PAUSE during
playback.
The JOG/PAUSE button lights and the
playback pauses.
Press and hold JOG/PAUSE during
(^2) playback.
The JOG/PAUSE button lights and the
playback pauses.
Turn the Shuttle Ring.
The playback speed can be controlled by the
extent of the wheel rotation.
Turn the Jog Dial.
Rightward: To advance the picture frame-by-
frame.
Leftward: To reverse the picture frame-by-
frame.
To finish operating the Shuttle Ring
Press JOG/PAUSE again to turn it off.
To finish operating the Jog Dial

■ The playback speed may differ depending on the disc.
’ If you slov/ down the playback speed of a DVD video disc by turning
the ring leftward, the DVD video player performs reverse frame
