If the TV-Video Combi is used a few minutes before
beginning a programmed recording session for
playback (for example),'PRESS OK TO START
RECORDING' will appear on the screen.

Change cassettes or press the button I stop
you want to use this cassette for recording.
Confirm this message with the button I ok I, to
continue the programmed recording session.
If one or more recordings have been programmed,
the TIMER lamp ( timer ® ) at the front of the machine
lights up.
If the end of the cassette is reached during a
recording, the TV-Video Combi will automatically
eject the cassette.
If you forgot to insert a cassette, 'NO CASSETTE'
will appear.
If you have inserted a cassette with erase protection
when you want to start a recording, the cassette will
be ejected automatically.
If'ALL TIMERS OCCUPIED' appearsonthe TV
screen when you press the I timer 0| button, you
have used up all the available TIMER blocks. If you
want to clear or check a programmed recording
(TIMER block), select it with I tP + lor U p - I.
If the message'DATA ERROR' appearsonthe
screen momentarily, the data for the recording was
not transferred. Please check date, start time and
end time of the programmed recording
Programme number 'El' is provided for recording
from external sources (via the I ext I scart socket).
How to check or change a programmed
recording (TIMER)

s Use the U p - lor l t p + I buttons to select the
programmed recording (TIMER) you wish to check or
change.
Press the I timer 01 button.

Select the entry field with the
button.

m Change any displayed information with the U p — I or
[TF£] button or with the iol buttons.

m Make sure that the cassette you have inserted is not
erase protected.
TIMER recording only functions if the machine is not
being used for other video recorder functions like for
example for playback.

programmed recording (TIMER) which you wish to clear.
m Press the ICLEARlculbutton.
The selected programmed recording (TIMER) has now
been deleted.
m To end, press the [мШЛ button.
