IN CASE OF DIFFICULTY

CONTROLS AND INDICATORS

If you encounter a problem, please review the items in the checklist below. This guide

will help you isolate the problem if the head unit is at fault. Otherwise, make sure the

rest of your system is properly connected or consult your authorized Alpine dealer.

INITIAL TURN-ON

No function or display.

Car's ignition is off.

If connected per instructions,

the unit will not operate with
the car's ignition off.

Power Switch is off.

With the car's ignition on,
turn the volume Control
clockwise to turn the power
on.

Improper Connection of

power leads.

Check connections of the
power leads.

Blown Fuse.

Check the fuses on the

Ignition and Battery leads;
replace with the proper value

if necessary.

Functions OK but no

sound.

Volume level too low.

Turn the volume Control

clockwise to desired level.

Processors or Amplifiers
not turning on.

Make sure Remote Turn-On
Lead is connected properly;
make sure processors and

amplifiers are properly wired.

CD not functioning.

Out of operating tempera­

ture range +50°C

(+120°F)for CD.

Allow the temperature of the
car's interior (or trunk) to
cool.

Moisture condensation in

the CD Module.

Allow the enough time for
the condensation to evapo­

rate (about 1 hour).
