INTRODUCTION

The 7909 is Alpine's audiophile compact disc player and FM/

AM digital PLL synthesizer tuner combined in one DIN-sized
chassis. It incorporates the most refined CD laser pickup and
transport in mobile audio, along with Alpine's famous T-10 II

tuner which provides exceptionally stable reception, excellent
signal-to-noise characteristics and ultra-wide frequency re­
sponse. It includes the controls which allow direct interface with
Alpine's compact disc changers CHM-S601 or CHA-S604. The
7909 allows for ultimate single play CD reproduction and the
convenience of multi-disc playback for any system configuration

you desire. Please read this manual thoroughly to familiarize
yourself with each control and function. We, at Alpine, hope you
