Can I convert my Kenmore gas grill from
one fuel type to another?
Answer:
Your Kenmore gas grill Is maiufactured to
exact specifications and is approved by the Canadian
Standards Msociation (CSA). For your own safety

convert your grill from one gas type to another will void
your product vserranty.

Why doesn’t the ho^ and regulator a^m-
bly supplied wlh my new Kenmore grill fit the older LP
gas tank I've used for y^rs?

and LP gas talks. Whenever new regulations are p^sed
the LP g^ tank fittings are altered. If your tank does not
fit the hose and regulator supplied wth your new grill, the
tank is outdated and must be replaced.

ing and extreme heat can cause stainless steel Lid
surfaces to turn tan color. This is discoloration, not rust.

How can I minimize the risk of rust or
stainless steel discoloration?
Answer:
To protect agairst the natural rusting process,
the Bymais have a porcelain finish. Hcss^ver, dropping,
sending or scratching these items wl! damage the

Weathering and extreme heal can cause exterior

Cleaner to polish the inside and outside of your grill

Sometimes my grill does not light vsiien I
push the Ignition Button. Why?
Answer:
Referió the Lighting Instructions in this
Owner’s Manual. Also check these common causes:
• Ignition A A battery may need replacing.
• Ignition wires may be loose. Remove the AA battery,
inspect the Ignitor Junction Box found behind the
Control Panel, and connect any loose wires.

What is the best vray to protect my new
Kenmore g® gril! from the wither?

Agood quality grill cover should be used to
protect your grill v*en not in use. Sears offers a cover
that is made to fit this particular grill model. Aso, follow
the cleaning and maintenaice instructions in this
Owner's Manual on a timely ba^s, and your new grill will

Where can 1 buy replacement parts?
Answer:
For the repair or replacement parts you need
call 6 an -11 pm CST, 7 days a week 1 -800-366-PART
(1-800-366-7278). Use only Sears authorized parts.
The use of any part that is not Sears authorized can be
dangerous and will also void your product wamanty. You
will need your model number and serial number to
order parts.

Are the serial and model numbers of my grill

Answer:
This information is listed on a silver label found
on the right ade of your Grill Head under the Side Shelf.
Question:
Sometimes I hear a humming sound
coming from my regulator. What causes this?
Answer:
The humming noise is actually the gas
flowing through the regulator. Alowvoiume of noise is
perfectly normal aid vsrill not interfere with the opera
tions of the grill. If humming noise is loud and exces
sive you may need to purge air from the g^ line or
reset the regulator exce® gas flow device.
Note:
This
purging procedure should be done every time a new LP
gas tank is connected to your grill. For help

Question:
Why doesn’t the Fuel Gauge Display show
the tank level after
“CHECK”
button presang?
Answer:
Make sure the Wire Plug “A” from Fuel Gauge
Display is connected vsith the Wire Plug “B” from rear of
Tank Pull-Out Tray. Or, it might be that 20 seconds have
not elap®d from the first time that you pres®d "Check"
and therefore your second pa"e®ing of "Check" has manu
ally turned the fuel gauge to "off". Simply repress "ChKsk"
to manually turn the fuel gauge to "on".
