Adjusting the antenna
FM/SW: H
Pull out the telescopic antenna and adjust Its
length and angle for optimum reception.
MW: B
The sensitive ferrite core antenna inside the
set will provide excellent MW reception in most
areas. For optimum reception, turn the set in
the direction which gives the best results since
the ferrite core antenna is directional.
■ To set the MW Frequency Step
The frequency step switch is on the bottom of
the radio. Select the step for your area (North
America: 10 K, other areas: 9 K) then turn
POWER OFF and ON to activate the change.
Preset stations in the MW band dear at this
time.

Die empfindliche Ferritkernantenne in diesem Gerät
sorgt in den meisten Gebieten für einen ausgezeich­
neten
MW-Empfang. Für optimale Empfangs-
qualität das Gerät in die Richtung drehen, die den
besten Empfang ermögücht.
■ Einstellung des MW-Frequenzra-
sters H
Der MW-Frequenzrasterschaiter befindet sich an der
Unterseite des Gerätes. Das richtige Frequenzraster
(10 K in Nordamerika, 9 K in anderen Ländern)
wählen, dann das Gerät einmal aus und wieder ein-
schaiten, um diese Einstellung wirksam zu machen.
Bei diesem Vorgang werden alle MW-Festsender
aus dem Speicher gelöscht.
