One AV-M8 is shown connected to four A-Net devices.
Remember that the AV‑M8 is an 8‑channel device. In the diagram above, only
channels 1‑8 on the Pro16 output devices will have audio signals present.
Cascading two AV‑M8 modules with the ADAT link will provide 16 channels.
Combining Two AV-M8 Modules
To create a single 16‑channel A‑Net stream, two AV‑M8 units can be
combined using the ADAT optical link and a Toslink optical cable.

Two AV-M8 units can be combined to send a single 16-channel A-Net stream
to any compatible Pro16 device.
When creating a 16‑channel A‑Net stream with two AV‑M8 modules, only one
A‑Net output is available. In this configuration, one AV‑M8 is the primary and
the other a secondary device. The primary AV‑M8 will be the one on which
the A‑Net Out port is used. There are no switches or software to configure;
