PATCH 1; BASIC SYNTH PATCH
This is the main patch to memorise. It sets up Vostok to act like a ‘traditional mono synth’. For playing typical leads, basses, etc. It uses patch
cables only. When you are new to modulars, or this synth in particular, you may find it easier to start with just cables. Pins are very useful, but it
can be harder to see what’s going on, until you are more experienced.
The signal chains are ‘typical’; Audio: VCOs->Mixer->VCF->VCA->Reverb->Adaptor->external mixing desk/DAW. CVs: EGs->VCA/VCF
