Power Supply
This player can be used by using either supplied AC adaptor or batteries (not supplied).
Using supplied AC adaptor
Connect one end of the AC adaptor
to DC IN jack and the other end to
household AC outlet.
Caution:
• Use only the supplied AC adaptor
(KX-WZ304), since other adaptors
may damage the piayer.
Using batteries (not supplied)
Alkaline batteries are recommended.
Battery Precautions:
If improperly used, the batteries may leak and cause corrosion. Therefore, observe
the following:
• Install batteries according to the diagram.
• Do not mix old and new batteries, or carbon and alkaline battery types.
• Remove all batteries when not using the player for extended periods.
• Do not charge, short-circuit, disassemble, heat, or dispose of in fire.
Replacing the Batteries:
O Open the battery cover by
sliding and lifting it up.
O Install six “AA” size batteries
(not supplied).
Make sure the polarities (+, -) match
the diagram.
Replace the batteries when blink­
ing mark “d'X I ” appears on the
display.
