Use the [S] and [T] keys to move the cursor symbol to the value to be changed. Press the [ENTER] key to store the 
new selection. 
 
Select “TEST RESULT” option for results viewing and press the [ENTER] key. 
 
Now you can connect the instrument Pressure inlet (INP) connector to the gas circuit.

With circuit depressurized, press the [TEST] key. The unit will display the following page:

Press the [ZERO] key to reset the reading. 
 
The 4000  series can memory store up to 2 different test data (A and B) for “Before” and “After” check. 
Use the [S] and [T] keys to move the cursor symbol to “Result” option. Press the [ENTER] key to select the option.

new selection. 
 
Select “START TEST” option and press the [ENTER] key to run the decay leak test.

The unit will store 4 different measurements at programmed time (standard values are: 10, 60, 120 and 120 second). 
See paragraph 10.2.4 to change these values. 
The instrument will display the 
∆P (P1-P4) value and it compute, using the circuit specifications (Length, Diameter and
Type) the test result (GOOD or FAIL). 
Test result will be calculated using the following acceptance limits table:
