• Use the GUI screens to turn subwoofer output on item ®
on page 25).
•Place the subwoofer as close as possible to the front center.
•Adjust the volume of the subwoofer to suit your preference.
When you have finished connection
• Go to “7 Digital Audio Output” and set ”1 PCM Down Conversion"
to “No” (w page 37).

You can enjoy stereo sound if you connect an amplifier or system component that has 2-channel audio input terminals. By connecting a
subwoofer, you can also enjoy powerful bass.

Dolby Pro Logic amplifiers
•If you connect a Dolby Pro Logic amplifier, you will
also need to connect center and surround
speakers to enjoy surround sound. Read the
instructions for the equipment for connection
details.
•Turn off V.S.S. (* page 20) and subwoofer
output item ® on page 25). Dolby Pro Logic
will not function correctly if they are on.
