When CanogaView software is installed on a Windows platform, five shortcuts will be
created on the system under “Start Menu
à CanogaView Smart Element Manager à”

Account Manager - manages CanogaView accounts and establishes new users
•
Canoga Perkins Website - link to Canoga Perkins' web page
•
Security Manager - manages CanogaView application security
•
Start CanogaView Smart Element Manager - opens the Start Page
•
TFTP Server – executes the TFTP server application which supports firmware upgrades
in Canoga Perkins devices
2.2.8 Choose Link Location
This screen appears only during installation on a Unix platform.
The "Choose Link Location" screen defines where symbolic links created by the installer are
to be placed.
•
In your home folder - This option creates symbolic links in the logged in user's home
directory.
•
Other: select location - Specify a location in which to create symbolic links.
•
Don't create links: No symbolic links will be created.
