Lock Switch
The lock switch is used to prevent unintentional operation of the radio.
Set the lock switch on the right side of the radio to the on position. The
Lock Icon will appear in the display. The power and all other buttons will
be disabled. This will prevent accidental operation when the radio is
packed in a suitcase or carrying a pouch. To release the lock switch,
simply move the switch to OFF position, the LOCK icon will be disap-
pear from the display.
Tone Control
The tone control switch is to adjust sound effect according to the pro-
gram you are listening or playing back. Switch to Music position while
you are listening to a music program and switch to news position while
you are listening and playing back the recording from your voice.
