Setting 12 hour/24 Hour Format Tuning Step
While the radio is switched off, press and hold band/step button for
approximately 5 seconds, display will show 12H, continue pressing
tuning up/down button for another 5 seconds, display will flash 12H. By
pressing tuning up/down button to select 24 hour format, complete the
setting by pressing band/step button.
Setting Tuning Step
Tuning steps in some countries are different from where you purchase
the radio. If you buy the radio in Europe and intend to use in North
America or South America, you may have to adjust the tuning step so,
the radio may continue to serve you well.
Upon resetting to the 12H/24H format the display will show FM and
flash 50 kHz (tuning step) followed by a beep. By pressing the up/down
tuning button, you may adjust it to100 kHz per tuning step then press
band/step button again to complete FM tuning step reset. The display
will show MW and flash 9 kHz after performing the FM tuning step reset.
By pressing tuning up/down button, you may adjust to 10 kHz per tun-
ing step. By simply pressing the band/step button now the setting is
completed.
Headphone Jack
A 3.5 mm headphone jack located on the left hand of your radio is
provided for use with either headphones or an earpiece. When insert-
ing a plug it automatically mutes the internal speaker.
