Important Operating Tips

To insure accurate results and quick tests:

Ambient Lighting

:

Don’t perform by uncovered windows

Dimmed light can help for adults w/small pupils

Too dim can make it harder to find the pupil for those with dark eyes.

Entry Angle

Position unit straight and level with patient

Rotate unit to test left eye

Fixation

: “Look at the red light”

Remind patient and monitor fixation
