Full-Draft Mode
Full-draft weighments require a dual-channel analog input card installed in the
920i
, and two four-rail sections of
the
Rail
Boss Railroad Track Scale
.
1. Ensure the first softkey on the
920i
is displayed as

2. The rail car’s individual rail wheels are positioned on each of the eight individual
RailBoss
rail sections.
Note
If the rail trucks do not match up with the location of the scale sections, it will be necessary to perform a double-draft
weighment. See “Double-Draft Weighments (Two Four-Rail Sections)” on page 2.
3. The
920i
displays the live weight for both scales; and the gross, tare, and net weights for the current rail
car.
4. To enter a Rail Car ID, press the
Enter ID
soft key.
5. If the rail car has a known tare value, press the
Enter Tare
soft key and use the keypad to enter the value.
Alternatively, to capture the tare weight of the rail car, press the
TARE
key.
If a tare is entered, the gross, tare, and net values are updated to reflect the addition of the tare weight.
Note
The tare weight will be displayed on the
920i
. If the tare was entered using the Enter Tare soft key and keypad, (Keyed)
will appear after the tare weight.To abort the ticket at any point, press the Abort Ticket soft key.
6. Press the
key to print the full-draft weigh ticket.
