1. Close the (#4) index control knob by turning clockwise.
2. Pull back the (#13) product grip using the (#14) product grip handle.
3. Load the product to be sliced into the (#11) carriage tray.
4. Open the (#10) gauge plate to the desired slice thickness using the (#4) index control knob by turning
counter clockwise.
5. Turn the machine on at the (#3) power switch.
WARNING Never reach into the carriage tray with the gauge plate or index knob in the open position!
6. Slice the desired product by pushing and pulling the (#12) carriage handle.
7. When finished, close the (#4) index control knob by turning it clockwise.
8. Power off the machine at the (#3) power switch.
9. Remove the sliced product from the (#16) receiving side of the (#1) machine base.
10. Remove the remaining unsliced product from the (#11) carriage tray.
11. Clean (See Section 4.2 on page 15) and prepare machine for the next product to be sliced.
