KISS-Stor 0/5 Connection Procedure
Before attempting to connect the KISS-Stor 0/5, the computer
must be powered-down and the power cord has to be
disconnected from the power source.
Serial ATA Cable Connection
Follow these steps to connect the SATA cable and the optional 3-pin serial cable
connector:
1. Turn off the and disconnect the power cord from power source.
2. Insert the SATA cable (not included) to the SATA port of the
motherboard/Single Board Computer (SBC) of the computer (depending on
the computer configuration).
3. Connect the other end of the SATA cable to the SATA port of the
KISS-Stor 0/5 RAID subsystem (refer to fig. 15, pos. 2 ).

The KISS-Stor 0/5 RAID monitoring can be performed via
the SATA port, if the RAID subsystem is installed into a
computer with on-board Intel® SATA controller (ICH5-ICH7).
