Computer System Requirements
In order to install the KISS-Stor 0/5 subsystem into a working system is required a
computer system with following hardware requirements:

with free on-board (motherboard or SBC, depending on the computer
configuration) SATA port or a serial host bus adapter card
q
with one free connector (4-pin) of the power supply at least
q
case with two half-height 5 ¼” drive bays with frontal access
System Requirements Option for use of the KSView Management Software
The KSView Management Software is applicable for a computer system
configuration:
q
with a free expansion slot to implement the RS232 serial interface (the
included bracket with 9-pin D-SUB serial connector of the serial 3-pin cable
connector) and a free external accessible serial port configured as RS232.
The KSView Management Software uses the serial port (COM) for RAID
monitoring.

with on-board SATA controller (the installed motherboard or SBC should be
equipped with an Intel® ICH5, ICH6, ICH7 SouthBridge). The KSView
Management Software uses the SATA port for RAID monitoring.
Operating System Requirements
Windows 2000, Windows 2003 or Windows XP
