Diagnostic code: IPMC-00050001 IPMC-00050006
Description
This test checks the built in self test result of the IPMC.
Failure impact
•
IPMC-00050001 diagnostic code results of failure to access the IPMC through the
KCS interface. The impact is loss of applications running on carrier host processor.
This impacts at least Ethernet functionality and command line interface.
• IPMC-00050006 results from a failed BIST in the IPMC. The impact is loss of
applications running on carrier host processor. This impacts at least Ethernet func-
tionality and command line interface.

Description
This tests performs a comprehensive SDRAM memory test of the board. This includes
•
data bus test (walking 1 testpattern)
• address bus test (walking 0 and walking 1 testpatterns)
• SDRAM read/write test using different test patterns.
In the case of test failures, an error value is written into the CPLD postcode warning
register.

below:
