Taking Pictures in Auto Flash Mode
Close-up Photography
When the shooting distance is between 0-6 and 1 m (2
and 3.3 ft.), there is a difference between what you
see in the viewfinder and the picture you actually take.
Because of this, the part of the picture outside the
close-up area marks will be cut off.
To take pictures of subjects at 0.6 to 1 m, follow the
steps below to use the close-up area marks to
compose the picture.
AF frame
Set the focus.
• Position the AF frame over
your subject and press the
shutter button halfway.
• Check that the green
indicator lights.
• Keep the shutter button
pressed halfway down.
Compose the shot and
take the picture.
• Compose the shot so that
the subject is within the
close-up area marks and
then take the picture.
• Do not change the distance
from the camera to the
subject.
