To eliminate harsh shadows caused by ambient
daylight, decrease fiash iilumination by one or
two f/stops using one of the methods below.
1. Use an aperture one or two t/stops smaller
than that determined in step 2 in combina
tion with a shutter speed slower by one or
two steps.
2. Reduce the amount of light output by one or
two steps by resetting the light output selec
tor knob.
3. Use a flash-to-subject distance from 1.4 to
two times longer than that determined using
the equation in step 3.
