Setting up the phone
Do the following steps:
• Connect the phone
• Choose the dialing mode
Note on installation
Install the unit:
• on a level surface
• away from heat sources, such as radiators, airducts, and sunlight
• away from excessive moisture, extremely low temperatures, dust, mechanical
vibration, or shock
Connect the phone
[f you want to hang the phone on the wall, mount the phone first (see
page 34).
To connect the handset
Connect one enci of the handset cord to the hanciset and the other end
to the HANDSET jack on the phone.
