I Set up the base unit
1 Connect the telephone line
cord to the LINE jack and
Jo the telephone outlet.
2 Connect the AC power
adaptor to the DC IN 9V
jack and to an AC outlet.
3 Choose the dialing mode
either tone or pulse (switch
of the base unit).
4 Raise the antenna
vertically.
Prepare the battery pack for the handset
1 Slide open the battery
compartment lid of the handset.
2 Insert the battery pack (with
contacts facing down) into the
battery compartment.
3 Close the battery compartment
lid.
4 Place the handset on the base
unit and allow to charge for 10
hours before using.
Making calls
1 Press ( talk J.
2 Dial.
3 when you are
done, press
(OFF).
Speed dialing
Receiving calls
1 when you hear the
phone ring:
• Press ( TALK) (or
any button except
• Pick up the handset
from the base unit
when the handset is
placed on the base
unit.
2 When you are done,
press (OFF).
Storing numbers
1 Press ( PGM).
2 Press program location
(® to ®).
3 Enter the phone number.
4 Press (^PEED DIAL).
Making calls
1
Press (TALK).
2 Press ( SPEED DIAL).
3 Enter the speed dialing number.
